Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until well blended. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
